Shield® treatment

To ensure that our stones get the best protection from dirt and aggressive agents, we have drawn on aerospace research. The result is a totally invisible, ultra-thin silica finish, which makes the surface non-absorbent, insoluble by most organic compounds on the market and ideal for contact with food. Shield® is a permanent treatment that integrates into the surface.
